Signage questions, answered

It comes down to wind. 13oz scrim vinyl is the default: waterproof, UV-stable and stiff enough to hang flat against a wall or fence. 8oz mesh is perforated so wind passes straight through it, which is what you want anywhere a solid banner would be caught and torn loose.

  • 13oz scrim vinyl — walls, fences, storefronts, most jobs
  • 8oz mesh — scaffolding, stadium rails, anywhere exposed to wind
  • Both come hemmed with corner grommets as standard

Yes. Every banner, flag, stand and rigid sign in this category can be ordered one at a time — there is no minimum to clear. Only our bulk poster run starts higher, at 25 copies, because that is what makes the per-poster price worth it.

Production speed is chosen at checkout and varies by product. Options run from same business day through to seven, and the ones available to you are listed on the product itself before you pay.

  • Same Business Day and Next Day Express on selected products
  • Next Business Day and 2 Day on much of the range
  • 4 and 7 Business Days for the largest and most-built items

Outdoor material is rated for water and sunlight; indoor material is not, and will fade or soften if you put it outside. If a sign will spend any time in the weather, pick from the outdoor lines — vinyl banners, mesh, aluminum, coroplast A-frames and flags are all built for it. Indoor vinyl, fabric displays, canvas and acrylic are for inside.

Choose the mounting when you order, and it arrives ready to go up. Which options appear depends on the product.

  • Grommets — metal eyelets for rope, zip ties or hooks
  • Pole pockets — a sewn sleeve for a pole through the top and bottom
  • Hems and D-rings — reinforced edges with fixed attachment points
  • H-stakes — push straight into grass or soft ground

Larger than most people need. Outdoor vinyl runs up to 10 feet wide and, on a continuous roll, up to 150 feet long. Rigid signs and displays are bounded by their frame — an aluminum sign tops out at 24 × 36 inches, a fabric display at 84 × 90.

A print-ready PDF is best. Set the artwork to the finished size, add a quarter-inch of bleed on every edge, and keep anything you need to read at least half an inch inside the trim.

  • PDF preferred; high-resolution JPG, PNG or TIFF also accepted
  • CMYK colour, 100–150 DPI at full size is plenty for large format
  • Keep text clear of grommets, hems and pole pockets
